That is when Leo's adventure really starts, and he's caught up in the crazy life of this unlikely crew of pirates and a whirlwind journey to find his dad. He is the younger brother and ha This book had some major challenges to overcome. So, the rock band references seemed aimed at adults.Next
I have read almost all of his books and they include fantasy, realistic fiction, and sci-fi, and all are so well done and so different than each other.
This has to be one of my favorite Middle Grade Sci-Fi books I have ever written. But the smartest of us all selected to be astronauts turn out to be the dumb and dumber morons clueless about the basic mechanics. That way only the weight of the bottle would need to be handled, rather than the weight of one's own body plus the bottle.Next
This is especially true when you've got just one setting and four characters even the voice of the company contact communicated with back on earth is muffled, meaning the conversations are viewed as one-sided dialogues.
Join the crew of the Icarus: A pirate captain with a bad habit of taking in strays, a fuzzy four-armed alien who's been exiled from his home planet, a teenage robot, an unfriendly but secretly very caring and loyal orphan, and, of course, a stowaway. Takes me a little time get into the audiobooks narrated with a synthesized voice and I thought maybe I just couldn't listen to middle grade ARCs at all but this one broke that mold! The rocket, situations, and solutions will sound scientifically valid enough to the lay person, though it's never fully explained how Michael came to be locked inside the spaceship's walls or how he could survive a rocket launch there.Next
I would say this is the worst sci-fiction movie I have seen lately, and the two lunatics who wrote the scenario for this master piece should never do this again.
